The 50th Reunion of the Great Class of 1959

The 50^{th Reunion Committee has been working hard for over two years to make our 50th the best reunion experience possible for all classmates. With a little under a year to go, our efforts are starting to payoff, and you will be receiving lots of information about housing plans in the coming months thanks to}^{Murray Simpson, our Housing Chair.}

More than 170 classmates signed up for the Early Bird housing or have made their own reservations. Another 37 have registered, Murray, at this time, has about 70 additional rooms available at special rates (tax included) at the following:

Doubletree (King or 2 queens) $247.32 Two night minimum

Holiday Inn (Queen or 2 doubles): $225.72 Two night minimum

Howard Johnson (King or 2 doubles): $268.92 Two night minimum

Wyndham (King or 2 Queens): $290.52 Two night minimum Includes breakfast

All have regular bus service to the campus, where parking is extremely limited. Call Murray at 301-229-4880 to make a reservation. Around Reunion-Graduation time, the hotels are usually quite aggressive with their pricing. In addition to the above, we expect to be allocated about 120 BEDS on campus. Most will be near our Headquarters site and will be in singles, doubles, or quad suites (four beds) configuration. The bathrooms for these units will be nearby. The University charges $120 per bed, regardless of the length of your stay. There is also a $50 key deposit and a $50 linen deposit, payable at check-in, and refundable at check-out.
